Apex Systems is looking for a Material Handler in Augusta, GA. This role is an immediate need.

Title: Material Handler
Hours:6:30am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour to $25.00/hour
Job Description:
This person will be the primary warehouse admin. Current warehouse worker is being promoted. They will need to be able to work independently and not need a lot of handling. Be able to get acclimated and up to speed quickly. Will have the tools and resources for training, but needs to be able to work solo without needing a lot of support.They will be cross-trained and have office admin duties as well. Needs basic computer skills (word and excel)
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- Issuing/ taking in parts
- overseeing warehouse- smaller warehouse but high volume (has about 20 techs)
- Shipping and receiving
- putting away boxes,
- inventory count
- Safety and EHS (environment, health, and safety) stuff monthly
- Counting trucks with techs
- Backend processes
