National Grid is hiring a Union Sourcing Specialist for our People Function in Waltham, MA.
Job Purpose
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment team as it relates to attracting, networking and actioning on hiring diverse top talent through inclusive outreach.
Key Accountabilities
* Create newsletters, engaging emails to communicate with talent communities.
* Partner and communicate with local trade schools, and other local employment agencies/organizations.
* Review & shortlist candidate applications and resumes/CVs.
* Schedule and facilitate assessment tests for internal and external candidates, ensuring timely follow-up correspondence on recruitment status.
* Be available to answer prospective candidate's questions via phone, text or email.
* Job advertising postings on niche job boards & local sites.
* Handle other assigned tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications
* A proven communicator with strong verbal and creative writing skills.
* Experience supporting high volume hiring and reviewing & qualifying resumes/CV's/ applications.
* Relevant work experience managing and shifting priorities in a fast-paced HR environment.
* Preferred Some College in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
* Must have strong knowledge and experience working with Microsoft tools: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Familiar with and experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and/or CRM's (Beamery, GEM, Eightfold etc)

Salary
$65k - $76k a year
