What You'll Do:
As our Technology Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future for youth ages 6-18. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading the BGCB Technology Program: Plan, implement, and continually improve engaging and developmentally appropriate tech programs.
- Maintaining Club Technology: Ensure all member computers are operational and accessible, supporting a seamless experience for all participants.
- Supervising Staff and Budget: Oversee program staff, manage the department budget, and support other clubhouse programs.
- Training and Collaboration: Train BGCB staff and stakeholders, collaborate on exciting programs and events, and expand our community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management
- Design and deliver innovative tech programs at the Harcourt Learning and Technology Center (HLTC).
- Inspire creativity and project-based learning through technology.
- Supervise and engage members in tech programs and throughout the clubhouse.
- Foster partnerships and community initiatives, like Technology Goes Home and ICCN collaborative programs.
Technical Support and Training
- Serve as the go-to person for tech support within the clubhouse.
- Assist with troubleshooting, maintaining tech equipment, and integrating technology across the club.
Administration
- Train and supervise department staff, conduct performance evaluations.
- Recruit and retain mentors and volunteers.
- Participate in key meetings, professional development opportunities, and manage the technology program budget.
- Lead the club's Tech Team, teaching vital tech skills and maintaining member computers.

What You Bring:
- Education: BA/BS required; relevant experience and certifications considered.
- Experience: Direct experience with technology programs for youth, project-based learning, Adobe and multimedia software.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills. Competency in MS Office and web technologies.
- Flexibility: Ability to work varied hours based on clubhouse needs.
- License: Valid driver’s license required.
