Is seeking applications for the position of Water & Sewer
Maintenance Mechanic
Requirements
Must have a valid drivers license
Strong mechanical and
maintenance abilities
Plumbing or water and sewer system experience
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
Ability to run a backhoe
Must be able to communicate with customers
Able to respond to emergencies at all times of the day
Ability to obtain a NYSDOH grade D Water Operator Certificate within 24 months of hire
Ability to cooperatively work with others
The Town of Sennett is a drug free workplace
Full Time 40 hour week;
New York State Retirement and other benefits.
Starting salary - $22 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
The Town will pay for the CDL course for a qualified applicant.
