Our client, a luxury tequila brand, is looking for a Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer to join their team! This role is a freelance with the potential to go full-time. This role is hybrid in Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Edit Instagram Reels by combining high-quality stills and video assets into visually engaging, cinematic content.
- Implement motion design techniques, including smooth transitions, basic masking, and kinetic typography.
- Use light and reflections as storytelling elements, ensuring seamless scene transitions.
- Apply color grading and LUTs to maintain a refined, luxury aesthetic.
- Assist in creating subtle animated overlays and typography to enhance branding.
- Optimize content for Instagram Reels and other short-form platforms, ensuring strong engagement and retention.
Must haves:
- Minimum 5 years experience in video editing and motion graphics
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Some knowledge of Lightroom and Photoshop is also required
Nice to haves:
- Experience using CapCut or VN Editor
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking is a plus
- Previous experience in the luxury brand industry
