Our client, a well-known technology company, is seeking a Trend Curator to work with their team. This is a 40 hour/week, 4-month + contract opportunity requiring 5 days/week onsite in Santa Monica.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- You will play a key role in identifying timely, trending, culturally relevant public content
- Collaborate with Trend Curators and Trend Producers to help users stay connected to local and global communities
- Identify trends, moments, and culturally relevant topics that the community cares about on a daily basis
- Surface timely, trending, and publicly submitted content
- Work with a group of Trend Curators who will source through footage to identify moments, trends, and conversations that are culturally relevant
- Review posted content in real time
- Engage in conversations with engineering, moderation, and product teams to communicate and resolve any issues that arise
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- You are familiar with US short form video trends, major pop culture moments, and timely events
- You have a deep understanding of Gen Alpha, Gen Z, and Millennials
- You are highly motivated, hyper reactive, and proactive
- You have a strong editorial eye and understanding of what makes an engaging piece of content
- You are up-to-date on pop culture, trends, and current events
