Toyota Material Handling is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as a Transportation Analyst. This position will be responsible supporting day-to-day operations for inbound and outbound shipping. They will be working with various transportation companies and internal customers to ensure on time deliveries.
Essential Position Duties:
- Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
- Gather data from carrier scorecard
- Analyze and process freight damage claims
- Support development of yearly budget for departments
- Gather data for development of cost saving measures
- Foster carrier relations with good communication and conflict resolution
- Process freight and invoices
- Support process improvement activity within the Transportation Department
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- Additional duties as assigned

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
- Certifications in Logistics related field
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of the different forms of transportation (intermodal and over the road)
- Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephone
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of TMS
- Proficiency with SAP preferred
