WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Systems and Cloud administrator is responsible for supporting TNC's mission-critical enterprise systems. They are the technical expert in system administration for small and complex Windows and Linux-based applications systems. They are responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operations, and maintenance of systems and related infrastructure and ensuring system hardware, operating systems, Data Center environmental equipment, enterprise systems, and related practices adhere to IT values.

They may have a technology focus of Microsoft, Linux, or both. They may be accountable for Microsoft Windows Server File services, and enterprise systems such as EMC Networker Backup and Recovery software, tape backup system, off-site media rotation, basic Linux and Samba administration, etc.


WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual with at least 4 years of experience in supporting AWS cloud-hosted services, including EC2, RDS, and Lambda. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have 3 years of experience with both Microsoft Windows and Linux server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, and Samba file shares. We value expertise in administering backup and recovery software, such as EMC Networker or similar enterprise solutions, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. The role also requires experience in supporting data center hardware, including servers, network patch panels, and spare parts, as well as proficiency in VMware vSphere and virtualized server environments. Lastly, experience with backup tape libraries or jukeboxes, such as Overland-Tanberg, is essential. WHAT YOU'LL BRING

* Bachelor's degree with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
* 4 years of experience supporting AWS cloud-hosted services (EC2, RDS, Lambda and others)
* 3 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Linux server operating systems, including Active Directory, DNS, and Samba file shares
* 2 years of experience administering backup and recovery software, such as EMC Networker or similar enterprise backup solutions.
* Experience supporting Data center hardware, including servers, network patch panels, and spare parts
* Experience supporting VMware vSphere and virtualized server environments.
* Experience supporting backup tape libraries or jukeboxes, such as Overland-Tanberg or similar appliances

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher certifications (Solution's Architect, etc.)
* 2 years of experience supporting enterprise storage solutions, such as SAN, NAS, and File Servers.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform and DevOps is a plus

SALARY INFORMATION

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $91,800 - $137,800 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
