As a Strategy Specialist here at Honeywell Smart Energy and Thermal Solutions (SETS), you will play a crucial role in driving Honeywell's strategic planning initiatives. You will aid in developing and implementing strategic plans, conducting market research and analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives. Your strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and ability to influence and communicate with others will be essential in contributing to the growth and success of Honeywell.
You will report directly to our Sr Director Strategic Planning and you'll work out of our Houston location on a Hybrid work schedule.Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
In this role, you will impact the organization's strategic direction, alignment, execution, performance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, innovation, communication, budget management, cross-functional collaboration, long-term sustainability, performance improvement, employee development, and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the development and implementation of strategic plans (STRAP process)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive organic and inorganic growth
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and competitive landscape
- Travel less than 20%

MUST HAVE
- 3+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, consulting or related roles within the Smart Energy and/or Thermal Solutions industry or similar

- Master's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Experience in strategic planning in a global organization
- Strong research and analytical skills
