Our client, a large life insurance company, is looking for a freelance Senior Visual Designer to join their team! This is a 40 hour / week hybrid role, located in either their NYC or NJ office 2 days per week, and 3 days remote.
The Senior Visual Designer will:
-help shape their brand's visual identity across digital and traditional channels, and direct the creative vision for brand sprint projects
-drive the design process, and conceptualize and oversee high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts for a variety of print and digital materials (social campaigns, email marketing, experiential activations, and sales materials)
-manage deliverables against project plans + timelines, and deliver complete, polished brand identities (including logo systems, case studies, and digital assets)
-maintain brand consistency across all platforms, and stay up to date on industry trends
-manage the evolving brand guidelines, and resources
-provide guidance to their external design agencies and foster a collaborative partnership
The Senior Graphic Designer has:
-ideally 6+ years in brand / creative design, preferably in financial services
-fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
-experience in AEM and Figma is a big plus
-a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects, with an emphasis on financial services or B2B materials
-strong communication skills + ability to work cross-departmentally
-ability to work onsite 2 days per week at one of their two local offices (NYC or NJ)
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
