Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007, USA

Duties: Define and implement data integration strategies, processes, and standards to support data management objectives. Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data pipelines, and APIs, using various data integration tools and programming languages. Collaborate with data architects and analysts to understand data requirements, data models, and data mappings and ensure data integration solutions meet business needs. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data quality and integrity during integration process. Design, implement and manage Datawarehouse solutions for different business use cases. Monitor and optimize data integration performance, troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues, and provide technical support and guidance to other team members. Evaluate and recommend new data integration tools, technologies, and best practices to improve data integration efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and data governance teams, to ensure data integration solutions align with enterprise architecture and data governance policies. Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes, including data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and technical specifications. Provide training and mentorship to other team members on data integration tools, techniques, and best practices. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data integration and data management.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Consultant, or in a related position performing software development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience with the following: architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to support enhancements and bug fixes in existing and new applications; applying knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for applications development; working with PL/SQL, Postgres, Python, Spark, Informatica, MuleSoft Anypoint integrations, implementation of Datawarehouse (Cloud and On-Premise), integration with Salesforce, SQL Server, AWS EC2, AWS S3, AWS Lambda, Unix, Shell, Alteryx, GitHub, GitActions, BitBucket, Oracle, Confluence, and Jenkins; working with open source code and frameworks; and using build tools, including GIT.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $192,300 to $192,300, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
