The regional AME will work closely with the NA operations team to understand top issues and top projects within YF manufacturing facilities. The incumbent will support YF plants in resolving top scrap and efficiency issues, drive process methodology change and evaluate technical talent. They will work diligently to support injection molding facilities through hands on floor support activities. The regional support AME will coach internal talent on best business practices, process and procedures used in our operation as it relates to injection molding process.
- Regional AME will be responsible for working closely with the Operations team to develop appropriate training material for the operations team.
- The Regional AME will be expected to work closely with the technical development team to implement and sustain a common processing strategy. Must be fluent with scientific molding principles, eDART, pressure transfer, and 2/3 stage molding techniques.
- The Regional AME will work with the plants to evaluate processing issues, determine appropriate corrective action, advise on the action plan, and execute when necessary. Ability to analyze the results of the DOE’s in order to resolve issues at their root cause.
- Specific projects will be assigned at a plant level with the expectation that the incumbent will manage the plant contacts, collect appropriate data, spend time on the floor with the processes to understand the issue, and ultimately come to a resolution.
- The Regional AME will be required to develop, implement, and roll out Yanfeng best business practices to all NA facilities.
