You will work out of our Deer Valley office in Phoenix, Arizona on a hybrid work schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide strategic direction for hardware and systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives
* Drive innovation and guide the development of advanced systems
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of hardware and systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence
* Regularly evaluate and provide feedback to team members
* Identify and mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track
* Budget/schedule responsibility
* Champion best practices in systems engineering and integration
* Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements
* Customer interaction
* Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences

MUST HAVE
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
* 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering and system engineering
* 5+ years of experience using C/C++, Python, Java, MATLAB, VBA, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Microsoft Visual Studio
* Ability to provides guidance and coaching to junior engineers
