Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced React Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building a new front-end platform from the ground up for our SaaS product. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development of a cutting-edge platform that will enhance our digital presence and improve customer engagement.

Scope of Work

• Lead the architecture and development of a new platform using React, with a strong emphasis on rapid iteration and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role where you will write code and define the architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, subject matter experts, and other developers, to define and implement innovative solutions quickly and efficiently.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the platform while maintaining a fast-paced development cycle.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, building a developer culture that emphasizes continuous learning and improvement.
• Define requirements, guidelines, and developer tools for developing new features upon the front-end platform that you will build.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the platform remains at the forefront of innovation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Acts as a technical or functional expert and leverages this expertise across own and related disciplines. Driving business decisions.
• 5+ years of experience as a React Architect or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in React and related technologies.
• Experience with building scalable and high-performance web applications.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD tools, build utilities, package management, CDN, edge compute providers, and other solutions commonly used in the React ecosystem.
• Hands on experience writing unit tests for React code.
• Experience using test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium WebDriver, or similar a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Comfort working with evolving requirements and frequent changes based on stakeholder feedback.
• Proven track record of frequent delivery of incremental value.
• Comfort with product experimentation and failing fast to learn quickly.
• Management experience is a plus.
• Strong desire for personal growth and continuous learning.
