As a Quality Control Inspector, you'll be entrusted to perform inspection and testing. You'll ensure quality equipment is manufactured to avoid unfavorable incidents when the equipment is deployed in oilfields. You'll have the opportunity to work with a large network of global supply chains.
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for:
- Performing mechanical dimensional and visual inspections and recording the status of the inspection of all assigned parts.
- Interfacing with all internal and external customers and suppliers, including Source Inspectors
- Ensuring product quality, workmanship, and conformance to all applicable processes, requirements, and regulatory standards by the established Quality Assurance System
- Inspecting parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to drawings and prints
- Ensuring that manufactured units meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.
- Initiating non-conformance reports on all parts and assemblies that are not to drawing and print specifications.
- Initiating corrective action requests when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive
- Completing, inspecting, and distributing all quality records and documents. Performing specialized testing as required.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in inspection, examination, and/or testing activities
- Experience with precision measurement tools and instruments
- Experience and/or demonstrated ability to inspect metal and ceramic parts
- Experience and/or understanding how to use microscopes, precision gauges, thread gages, and jigs
