The Team
We are seeking a Project Manager, Network Operations join American Tower’s U.S. Tower division’s Network Operations team. The Network Operations team monitors and maintains the Company’s U.S.-based assets, supporting both frontline representation in the field and strategic programs. Day to day you will plan, execute, and report on daily operations, data quality, and production metrics. As a Project Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to streamline and automate processes while providing high quality validated data into core systems.
What You Can Offer Us
- Manage Network Operations projects, achieving scalable, cost-effective data solutions by:
- Defining objectives and scopes;
- Identifying and scheduling deliverables, milestones, and tasks;
- Assigning duties and responsibilities to team members;
- Reviewing status reports and making needed adjustments; and
- Monitoring progress against plans.
- Communicate to management and project sponsors any issues, including timing, budget, resources, scope, etc.
- Utilize reporting tools to analyze actual and planned resource metrics; report to management about resource utilization and availability.
- Adhere to best project management practices and methodologies and represent the team at cross-functional meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure post-processed data products meet current and future business needs.
- Partner with business leaders and customers to identify opportunities for data; determine scopes, evaluate requirements, manage implementations, and monitor quality during and post-production.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
- A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience required.
- A minimum of 3 years of project management experience required.
- Prior experience with MS Project or comparable resource scheduling tool preferred.
- Prior wireless projects site management or construction management experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
