Raba Kistner is seeking an energetic Project Manager – Intern, to join our Project Control team in Lincoln , NE. This intern position provides opportunities for a highly motivated student ready to take on new challenges to support Project Control’s role of owner’s representative in the management of complex projects.  This internship is to understand project organization, planning, programming, administration, and design and construction phases of buildings.

  • Contribute to a teamwork approach to the project. 
  • An advocate for the owner and make recommendations to the owner relating to owner’s best interests.
  • Participate in learning opportunities offered by Project Control and other Project Control-approved opportunities.
  • Work with Project Managers / Senior Project Manager with development of project requirements, budgets and schedules.
  • Assist with participation and support of company’s strategic plan initiatives.
  • Assist with business development, as requested.
  • Understand, adhere and participate in the Raba Kistner Health and Safety and Behavior Based Safety Programs and set a good safety example.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • College or university Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student in good academic standing. 
  • Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). 
  • Ability to multitask and posses excellent communication, organizational, and judgment skills.

Ability to read and understand instructions, labels, reports, etc. Ability to effectively communicate information both written and oral and respond to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, general public and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Noise level for the work environment is moderate (business office with computers/printers, light traffic, etc.).
