In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you'll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
BAE Systems is seeking a self-motivated and experienced program manager to manage the $50M Digital Interrogator Technology Refresh development and productionization projects. This position has the responsibility for the leadership and management oversight of a project team assuring that project's financials, schedule, and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved while meeting all contractual commitments. Reporting to the Maritime Sensors & Systems Program Area Director, this role will require strong cross functional leadership and customer management to operate in this dynamic environment balancing program execution as well as supporting new business initiatives.
The candidate must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, and all Program Office functional leadership to assure deliveries continue to exceed customer commitments and achievement of financial commitments to the company. Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes projects for development and productionization of the Digital Interrogator Technology Refresh. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of proposals.

Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Provide leadership and management oversight for the Digital Interrogator Technology Refresh, assuring the team's Program Area and Product Line objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Responsible and accountable to the Program Area and Product Line Management for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Makes timely decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash.
- Accountable for all aspects of assigned program's execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, risk management, and customer engagement) throughout all the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phases, ensuring program commitments are met while having the authority to make cogent and timely decisions related to the project.
- Acts as the primary point of contact between BAE Systems and the customer program office, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.
- Excellent executive presence and communication skills, including oral presentations and written correspondence.
- Exhibits exceptional interpersonal skills while interfacing with program team members, company personnel, suppliers, and customers.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Demonstrated experience leading and inspiring teams in a high tempo environment.
- Successful, proven past performance in leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.
- Expertise in project management, earned value management, risk management, and supply chain & subcontract management.
- Strong presentation and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the development and production of high reliability electronics.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree and 8-10+ years of experience.
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification,
- Master's degree in Engineering, Management, or Business Administration.
- Experience in new business capture.
- Detailed knowledge of the defense aerospace market and experience working with US Navy program offices.
- Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.
- Active Secret Clearance
