Northrop Grumman Space Systems' Program Excellence Team is currently seeking a Program Management Development Manager - Level 3. This role can be located at any of our major Northrop Grumman locations within the United States. Join the Space revolution and make the impossible, possible.
In this job, you will:
• Plan, communicate, update and execute all CAM, PM, and PRA development efforts across the sector, supporting Enterprise standardized development initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, training, workshops, mentoring, and skills assessments.
• Serve as the Space liaison to the Enterprise, coordinating all Enterprise development initiatives pertinent to the Space sector.
• Collaborate with division PMX and P&L leadership to leverage existing resources and processes, while expanding sector offerings in alignment with Enterprise partnerships.
• Act as the Enterprise point of contact for Space PM training materials and sector logistics, as well as serve as the Space sector execution lead for Enterprise trainings.
• Collect and analyze insights from each class and other sources, such as PM Skills Assessments and mentoring feedback, to evaluate existing PM skills and development needs across the sector. Communicate key outcomes to leadership to inform future development activities.
• Lead Division PM development needs assessments to identify targets for training and development and deliver tailored tool workshops to facilitate learning and growth (e.g., D100 updates, NGPro, Cross Divisional Operating Model initiatives, PPM).
• Lead the standardization of governance (PrOP) in alignment with Enterprise standardization efforts, working with divisions to update training initiatives.
• Work closely with the sector CIDO and PPM initiatives to represent the Space PMX organization and ensure it meets organizational expectations.
• Draft and disseminate key PMX initiatives to the broader Space sector.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional Program Management (or related) experience - OR - Master's degree with 6+ years of professional Program Management experience.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently under the guidance of the Space Systems Sector Program Excellence Director.
• Strong project management and communications skills with ability to execute initiatives with urgency, accuracy and efficiency.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a collaborative nature and the ability to influence others.
• Understanding of general project management principles (scope control, cost/schedule management risk management, baseline control, etc.).
• Experience working with and knowledge of the Program Management tools and Program Management Execution Portfolio.
• Ability to travel 25% of the time.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, and SCI access. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior IPT or Program Management experience.
• Breadth and depth of all types of programs including development, production and logistics support as well as systems and services.
• Comprehensive knowledge of company program management standards, policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Salary Range: $161,500 - $280,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
