Our client, a cultural institution in New York City, is looking for a freelance Print Production Manager to join their team for 25-30 hours a week for about 5 months starting by mid March.
The opportunity will be primarily remote, however, you will need to be able to go onsite 1-2 times a week starting in late May.
As the Print Production Manager, you will be working alongside a Creative Project Manager and the Art Director on the execution and delivery of print collateral.
The Print Production Manager will be responsible for:
- serving as the main point of contact with external print vendors
- reviewing all specs and ensuring that all files are prepared for print / pre-production
- ensuring that all print collateral is delivered correctly and on time
- providing status reports on production projects, and routing proof's to stakeholders for approval as needed
- overseeing deliveries and installations onsite as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of print production experience
- strong working knowledge of Monday (or similar PM software), Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite
- strong communication and collaboration both internally and with external print vendors
- highly organized managing the timelines of multiple print projects
- able to work quickly and efficiently
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
