Key Responsibilities
Prepare moderately complex monthly and quarterly entries related to derivative investments held in multiple legal entities
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on derivative holdings, P&L and related metrics for GAAP, statutory, and regulatory submissions
Perform investment and derivative accounting processes for a variety of transactions within the PAM accounting system in accordance with GAAP, statutory, internal and external policies, procedures and authorizations
Assist senior manager/director in the implementation of new accounting projects and standards including developing and documenting procedures and establishing controls
Lead or assist on enterprise and team projects as needed, such as new accounting processes, systems work, etc.
Provide work direction to one senior accountant on derivative-related work
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5 to 7 years of accounting experience; solid understanding of financial instruments
Strong business knowledge of investments, GAAP, and statutory accounting treatment
Proven ability to lead through change and strong ability to problem solve
Ability to handle detailed work, analyze results, and understand the "big picture"
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of derivative instruments highly desirable
Strong technical skills including advanced Excel and data analytical tools
Strong understanding of the end-to-end process flows, systems, controls and impacts across products and business lines they support
Experience with Workday general ledger accounting system

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $85,700 - $115,700 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
