Summary:
The Epic Training Specialist applies a strong understanding of the EPIC software application(s) as implemented within Pardee's Physician Network (PN). Provides optimization coaching and support to nonclinical team members as needed, including: post new employee orientation and "go-live" events. Collaborates with the principal trainers to ensure network-wide Epic optimization. Responds to users' needs and collaborates with other training staff to identify and develop appropriate solutions for teaching and learning.
Responsibilities:
• Identifies areas or team members within the physician practice network where additional Epic support/training may be needed, i.e. during "go-live" events, post new employee orientation, or where individual Epic skillset may be lacking. Provides additional support where areas of opportunity are identified, to ensure PN-wide Epic optimization.
• Works with the principal trainers to prepare approved materials and/or training methods while meeting project timelines. Recommends adjustments and updates to learning materials needed. Responds to users' needs and collaborates with other training staff to identify and develop appropriate solutions for teaching and learning.
• Maintains training records and status reports. Provides project updates to supervisor, including areas in need of optimization.
• Works with key stakeholders and Central Billing Office department on new initiatives and redesigning current initiatives, to ensure that Epic training supports optimization and other related organizational goals.

Qualifications
Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One to two years utilizing Epic EMR system, including participation in at least one go-live event.
