How will you make a difference?

The Planning Leader role will support the SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning) will also support PSI (Production, Sales, and Inventory) and production scheduling. In this role you will have the Ability to develop, lead and execute business SIOP/PSI strategy, yielding improved value/experience for customers and enhanced revenue/margin growth for business.

What do we want to know about you?

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 10 years of cross functional experience in operations/planning/finance and /or commercial
APICS certification or related Supply Chain experience
Strong working knowledge ERP/MRP
Experience leading operational change in a complex, globally diverse matrixed organization

What will your typical day look like?

Develop, lead and execute business SIOP/PSI strategy yielding improved value/experience for customers and enhanced revenue/margin growth for business
Partner with sales, finance, to ensure a consensus planning process delivers an agreed upon volume forecast. Identifies gaps between budget and forecasts with proposals on how to mitigate risks or achieve additional opportunities.
Responsible for alignment of demand and supply. Reviews demand with sales and works with planning to level load. Conducts supply reviews with production and methods team to ensure that HC is alignment with plan.
Identifies sales gaps and drives material forecasting supported by Aftermarket Sales and Product Management teams to reduce lead times, while working within inventory budgets.
Responsible for LOB and OTD. Provides actions for improvement with team.
Identify and drive continuous improvement projects effecting planning processes, demand management, and execution of supply.

Supportive of teaching and learning Lean concepts and drives a lean manufacturing mindset.
