Summary:
This full-time position is a 40-hour per week role in specialty area of pelvic health physical therapy. The position is split between 2 outpatient clinic locations: one being a therapy clinic within the UNC Center for Rehabilitation in Chapel Hill, the other is a specialty clinic in Durham that focuses on pelvic health and lymphedema therapies. Candidates must either have prior work in this specialty area or completed a 12-week clinical rotation as a student, plus completion of Pelvic Floor Level 1 education. The ideal candidate has prior work experience in pelvic floor and providing trauma-informed care and has ability to maintain dual caseloads between clinics. Specialist certification such as APTA Board Certified Specialist in Women's Health (WCS), Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) or experience in a residency program is ideal. The hiring department hosts the Women's Health residency program at UNC Health, which would enable the candidate potential opportunity to interact with the Program Coordinator and other mentors in the program.
Responsibilities:
1. Completes PT documentation in the medical record per department guidelines and completes department records for billing and statistics
2. Evaluates Patient, sets Physical Therapy (PT) treatment goals, devises a PT treatment plan and manages resources needed to perform treatment plan to accomplish the goals set for the patient.
3. Manages PT caseload with efficiency and efficacy
4. Plans and coordinates clinical programs
5. Provides clinical supervision and teaching for multiple students and/or staff. Plans orientation, caseload, and other learning activities. Provides regular feedback and coaching. Evaluates the learner's performance.

Education Requirements:
● Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
● BLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
● Five (5) years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, including one (1) year in the specialty field.
