Our client, a global health / beauty company, is looking for a freelance Marketing Automation Lead to join their NYC team (3 days per week onsite, 2 days remote) and will ideally convert to a full-time staff role for the right person!
This position will work across enterprise websites, email development, and manage event + ecommerce tags.
Marketing Automation Lead Responsibilities:
- Lead / manage the email marketing automation team and act as the liaison between stakeholders and engineers
- Establish / maintain website tagging, tracking, and analytics using tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity
- Troubleshoot / resolve tracking implementation issues
- Design / manage event tracking, and consent management setups as well as manage + maintain reports in Looker Studio for the digital marketing team
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in website management / email development, and experience partnering with both IT and marketing teams
- Hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Proficiency in Tag Management tools like Google Tag Manager, Tealium, etc. and proficiency in debugging / testing tools like Tag Assistant, or Debugger, etc.
- A solid understanding of enterprise ESP's and automation
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
