Our Advanced Test & Support Solutions (ATSS) group is seeking a Manager of Project Management 1 to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, OK. You will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively developing Avionics Testing Solutions and Specialized Test Equipment for the B-2 Stealth Bomber and LGM-35A Sentinel Missile platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget
• Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and proactively develop solutions to mitigate risks
• Ensure that all projects adhere to company standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in project management
• Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders on project status, performance, and potential challenges
• Continuously improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Facilitate project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and post-project reviews
Qualifications:
• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project & JIRA) & Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain & maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance & special program access
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree
• Active DoD SECRET or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years
• Active Program clearance
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is highly desired
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Advanced certifications or training in project management
Salary Range: $87,800 - $131,600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
