As aLeadFieldTechnicianhere at Honeywell, you will be accountable for providing technical assistance and service to our customers in theHVACindustry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting ofHVACcontrol systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by delivering exceptional service and assistance to our customers in theHVAC controlsindustry.
You will report directly to ourField ServiceManager and you'll work from a Honeywell customer site according to a set schedule.
*Must be within 100 miles from the Honeywell Redmond, WA site.
**This position will primarily support customers in Redmond, WA. On occasion, will support the West Region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Commission, start up, and tune control systemsto meet customer specifications and job requirement
- Install, configure, and test pre-engineered software for control systems
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with efficiency and expertise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement solutions tailored to customer needs
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintainbuilding automationsystems to ensure optimal operating efficiency
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate BAS solutions
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
- Document all service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
- Report incidents, near misses, and improvement opportunities through the SOS system
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Ability to work weekends and be on-call for customers
- Company vehicle will be providedto travel to customer sites
- Travel: Up to 20%
The annual base salary range for this position is $77800- $97000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. MUST HAVES
- 2+ years of relatedBuilding AutomationSystems (BAS)/DDC/HVAC/Server Maintenance experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with experience in technical phone or onsite customer support including good interpersonal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record ability to pass background check
WE VALUE
- Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science or related field
- Knowledge ofDDC/BAS,HVAC, fire alarms, smoke control and/or security systems
- TridiumNiagara 4 or Niagara AX experience (or willing to get certified)
- Experience with systems that involve advanced solutions such as Honeywell Front End Computers such as EBI,TridiumN4,Honeywell XLS1000 and XLS3000, Edwards and Notifierfire alarm systemand other technologies for buildingDDC,fire alarmand security solutions
- BuildingNetworksinfrastructure knowledge (wiring, CAT, Cables, Fiber optics etc.)
- Understanding of typical communication topologies is important
- Strong computer, software andnetwork skills, and knowledge are necessary for this position
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook
