Honeywell's ACST team is seeking a Lead Fluid Systems Engineer for our Golden Valley, MN location. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of cryogenic technologies, fluid dynamics, and engineering principles contributing to the successful design, implementation, and optimization of advanced pumping and circulation systems in a cryogenic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Work directly with Cryogenic Scientists & Engineers to develop and optimize cryogenic systems in support of laboratory experimentation.
-Provide expertise in liquid and gas pump system design, configuration and optimization, processing systems in both open and closed-loop operation, especially at cryogenic temperatures.
-Supportthe design and development of integrated solutions with cryogenics and vacuum being key components.
-Partnerwith Program Management and Project Engineers for project execution.
-Performtrade studies, derive component requirements, organize and perform testing, write reports, and project proposals.
-Leads pumping and circulation technology platform strategy and helps all members with technical guidance, including contributing to structured learning opportunities.


Pay Range for Role:
The annual base salary range for this position is $131000 - $164000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

Compensation Package:
This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
-10+ years experience in Engineering, research and/or systems development
-5+ years experience in Pumping and Circulation System Engineering
-U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain government security clearance


WE VALUE
-Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related field
-Experience with carrying a product from design and development through commissioning
-Proficiency in modeling software such as Aspen Plus, Fluent, COMSOL, HYSYS, UniSim or similar
-Demonstrated experience thinking big and making it happen including intellectual property generation
-Experience with low temperature liquids and gasses, filtration technologies, rough to ultra-high vacuum environments, and/or cryogenic systems
-Capability to work independently on multidisciplinary projects with evolving requirements
-Ability to contribute to and collaborate across the scientific and engineering disciplines as a team player, understanding and valuing the strengths of diverse backgrounds and skillsets
