UNC Physicians Network is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician (MD/DO) to provide Per Diem virtual Tele-ICU services for multiple UNC hospitals. This 100% remote opportunity allows you to make a significant impact on patient care while enjoying the flexibility of a virtual practice. The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients.

About This Position: 

• 100% Remote Position, working 7PM-7AM, 7on-7off with possible variability based on team consensus to maximize flexibility and work-life balance. 
• Virtual ICU management for adult patients 18 and older. • Candidate must be physically located in North Carolina or Pennsylvania.
• Per Diem Position
• EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.
• Seamless EPIC based workflow eliminates delays in care by allowing direct communication from nurses and other in-hospital staff, eliminating the need for an intermediary and allowing for more efficient communications and expedited care. 

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of experience is required.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Critical Care; Pulmonary Medicine Board Certification/Eligibility preferred.
• ICU experience is a plus.
• Telemedicine experience is a plus, but not required.
• Open-minded and flexible with change.
• Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.
