Our automotive client is seeking a Stage Manager who has experience as a Graffer and Grip. This role is onsite in Torrance, CA. You will be working with the client's Video Production Department to cover for a team member on leave. This role will be for a couple of months.
This role is 40 hours/week with some overtime as-needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Strong Grip and Electric experience
- Gaffer experience and has worked on lighting boards and apps
- Understanding of sound stage management
- Strong knowledge of DMX lighting software such as Luminair, Blackout, Stellar, and Sidus Link or similar
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Coordinate and oversee studio preparation, including equipment setup, lighting rigging, vendor support, internal support, and space organization
- Serve as primary gaffer (G&E) during video productions, managing lighting setup and operation
- You will play a role in managing the production studio and sound stage as well as supporting video production operations
- Ensures the implementation safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain and organize production equipment inventory
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience with studio production and live events
- Background in lighting cars, products, and people
- Familiarity with production scheduling software and workflows
- Previous experience in a similar production facility
- Basic knowledge of audio production and equipment
