What You'll Do
You will play a key part in shaping and executing our inorganic growth strategy which has become an integral part of BCG's overall strategy. BCG increasingly explores a steady stream of deals ranging from strategic partnerships, to minority investments, to full acquisitions or divestitures, in order to expand and strengthen the set of capabilities and offerings that we can bring to our clients. As part of the Corporate Development team, you will work closely with the most senior business leaders within BCG.
In this role, you will be deeply involved in end-to-end M&A processes, including: setting the strategic objectives, performing market scans of priority business areas, screening investment and acquisition opportunities, overseeing the due diligence process in a cross-functional team (e.g., accounting, tax, legal, HR, IT), driving the deal structuring and negotiations with potential M&A targets, preparing the integration of acquisition targets into BCG, and ultimately tracking the performance of completed M&A transactions and investments. You will act as an expert thought partner and guide the decision-making process for senior leaders and case teams working on inorganic investment proposals.

What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's/undergraduate degree required, MBA or other professional degree preferred
- Experience at an investment bank and/or a toptier consulting firm and/or working within another high-caliber corporate development team or finance function (role and responsibilities will be adapted to the level of experience)
- Hands-on experience in M&A due diligence, transaction evaluation and execution, deal negotiation and legal documentation is beneficial
- Familiarity with professional services companies and business models as well as experience in the digital, technology, advanced analytics space is a plus
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and financial modelling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Who You'll Work With
You will work as part of our global Corporate Development team distributed across Europe and the US. Beyond the core team you will operate in a global cross-functional team (including legal, HR, tax, accounting) to push our deal agenda. Depending on the deal and project you will collaborate and interact closely with senior business leaders across BCG, consulting teams, and local support teams.
