About This Opportunity
- Monitor and maintain daily, weekly and monthly inventory balances on tracking spread sheets for various terminals and pipelines where SEIFS hold inventory of motor fuels to meet the requirements of the retail stores selling motor fuels.
- Daily interaction and discussion with counterparts at supplier companies, terminals, and pipelines to determine supply requirements to meet and/ or maintain contractual commitments including the scheduling of pipeline movements and terminal inventory receipts and deliveries.
- Daily interaction and discussion with SEIFS commercial people, pricing group, exchange coordinator and supply group management to optimize motor fuels requirements to take advantage of supply system opportunities and mitigate supply disruptions.
- Work with internal and external persons to resolve emergency supply issues 24/ 7.
- Provide information and recommendations as needed to various groups in the organization.
- Monitor and determine Branded fuel requirements for Branded store in the Eastern half of the US.
- Nominate volume requirements and work with the branded companies to make sure the stores are supplied at all times.
- Education: High School + Equivalent Experience or Bachelor/4 year degree.
- Experience: 0-1 year, Scheduling or marketing analysis.
- Expert knowledge of transportation and business requirements of 7-Eleven's Fuels delivery system.
- Strong working knowledge of US supply and distribution systems.
- Strong Analytical skills including the use of Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Strong facilitation skills, dispute resolution skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
