Culinary Producer

Position Overview
Our client, a home goods company, is looking for a Freelance Culinary Producer to work with their Video team at their in-house studio in Mahwah, NJ. This would be project-based support, ready to start immediately. Future projects typically scheduled out at least 2 weeks in advance, although some last-minute requests are possible.

Key Responsibilities

•  Work on set with videographer to do culinary producing for recipe videos, product videos, and instructional videos.
• Demo cooking techniques on camera.
• Manage food/prop styling for each shoot, collaborating with in-house culinary producer and director of video.
• Work on pre-production tasks including mood boards, grocery orders, and recipe/product testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Culinary background with food styling portfolio is a must
• Proven experience in food styling and culinary production
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with photography and video production is a plus

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
