As a Fabrication Technician, you will be working with special purpose equipment, conventional numerical control (NC) machines with a focus on sheet metal fabrication, injection molding & anodization of metallic and nonmetallic parts.
A Fabrication Technician you are responsible for:
- Setting up and operating special purpose equipment and conventional numerical control (NC) machines with a focus on sheet metal fabrication, injection molding & anodization of metallic and nonmetallic parts that hold to the high-quality machine standards required within the organization
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
- Starting and observing machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusting machine controls as required
- Selecting, aligning, and securing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mold machines, press brakes, punches, & robotic spot welders

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T)
- Have the ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
- Have the ability to calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors or enter commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
