Enterprise Program Manager
An outdoor retailer is seeing an Enterprise Program Manager. This role is 40-hours a week onsite M-F in Katy.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration or relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.
- PMI PMP, PgMP, and/or ScrumMaster certification preferred.
Work Experiences:
- 5+ years of Program Management experience across multiple business functions
- 10+ years of Project Management and/or applicable leadership experience within IT and Supply Chain areas
- Managed programs and projects via Waterfall and Agile through the SDLC, software development lifecycle
- Demonstrated experience and success in utilizing program and project management principles to lead and oversee the successful execution of strategic IT initiatives within our supply chain portfolio.
- Demonstrated experience in the formulation of long-range strategic plans, provides input into project budget preparation, and business case development with defined measures of success.
- Demonstrated experience and success leading large, high-impact, cross-functional program or projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing agreements and staffing with external service providers.
- Demonstrated strong financial management skills by understanding budget, forecast, accounting treatments, and contracts at program and project levels
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience by collaborating with IT teams, supply chain business partners, and vendors, while also communicating strategic updates to senior leaders and executives.
- International and/or global work experience a plus

- Program Management, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Delivery Excellence, Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Budgeting, etc.
- Understanding of supply chain processes that can be applied to complex projects that drive transformation
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels, both internal and external.
- Analytical, innovative, with strong problem-solving abilities and creative resolution skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work on multiple programs and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain organized, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines within a high volume
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and drive results
- Excellent analytic skills with the ability to use key tools to dive deep and provide analysis consistently on performance metrics.
- Strong Microsoft Project experience
- Strong Microsoft Office program experience, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to navigate Microsoft SharePoint and Teams
- Familiar with Planview Portfolios; preferred
- Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
Responsibilities:
- Leads/manages medium to large size programs and projects, leveraging project management tools to deliver results. Accomplishes program objectives by planning and evaluating project activities.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to supply chain systems, including, warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and other related technologies.
- Responsible for all aspects of complex strategic projects to deliver minimum realization.
- Preparation of Program Charter, Stakeholder Identification, Project Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Closing
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews
- Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Facilitate KPI management and benefit realization at start and delivery of each project
- Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Lead and support change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new technologies and systems within the supply chain team.
- Ability to manage tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Academy policies, procedures and safety rules
- Responsibilities may change; team members may be required to perform other tasks as assigned
