Research work in electric motor control algorithms design and development activities for electrified powertrain. Interact with universities, customers, and team members to provide solutions and support to meet customer's expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Advancing the e-motor control technology with innovation methods, tools and processes. Establishing best practices for e-motor related analysis, controls and testing.
- Perform the E-Motor control algorithm development in Simulink/TargetLink models, auto code generation, algorithm verification and validation through simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, dyno tests, and other prototype test environments. Deliver system performance that meets the customer's expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
- Electric motor control/Power electronics background
- Familiar with Rapid prototype tools, such as DSPACE/Plecs RTbox/FPGA
- Familiar with Matlable/Simulink
- Familiar with C language
- Knowledge of power electronics in electric drive systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
- PhD candidate
