Job Summary
The Utilities Department with Facility and Operations is seeking Graphics Designer and Data Entry Clerk to support our transition from an older data historian (eDNA) to new data historian (Aveva-Pi). The primary role and function for this position is to help create a graphical interface for a new boiler monitoring system under development. Activities include creating a graphical representation of boiler rooms and geo-plants, identify key indicators (tags) that represent real-time data, and enable these points to ultimately bring this data into screens that Boiler Operators or Maintenance Mechanics will use to troubleshoot real time issues, monitor the operating state of these plants, alarm when a fault occurs, or to perform analytics on these plants. Note: Aveva Pi System solution helps you establish an operations monitoring baseline, visualize critical assets and process performance (real-time), develop actionable insight, and apply advanced, AI-based analytics to achieve measurable outcomes.
