Position Overview
The Engagement Editor will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance audience engagement through various digital content platforms. This role focuses on analyzing performance metrics to optimize content delivery and drive audience interaction, ensuring that our content resonates with our target audience. Must be familiar with Analytics programs such as Adobe Analytics or Amplitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement audience engagement strategies to increase interaction with digital content.
- Analyze performance data using analytics tools such as Amplitude to inform content decisions.
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to create compelling content that aligns with audience interests.
- Monitor trends in journalism, weather, and news to ensure content relevance and timeliness.
- Create and optimize headlines and digital marketing strategies to attract and retain audience attention.
- Conduct audience research to gain insights and enhance content effectiveness.
- Evaluate and report on content performance metrics, providing actionable insights for improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in analytics and audience engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with Amplitude or similar analytics tools.
- Strong background in journalism or related fields.
- Excellent writing skills with a focus on digital content.
- Understanding of news judgment and current trends in media.
- Experience with digital marketing and content marketing strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on performance metrics and audience insights.
