We're looking for a highly-motivated Designer to support design efforts across our large streaming client’s Publishing Platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with our editorial, photo, and distribution teams, you will concept, pitch, and execute innovative ways to tell visual stories, including
- Creating bespoke art
- Commissioning illustrations
- Laying out and packaging stories with multimedia content
- Creating social assets
- Concepting and executing repeatable templates
- Support internal design projects and consumer facing brand work across the brand
- Publishing:
- Partner with our product team to evolve the visual language of the site
Requirements:
- A versatile, senior level designer with a demonstrated history of delivering exceptionalcreative in a digital environment
- Experience working in a creative studio and/or editorial team
- Understanding of responsive web design and content management systems
- Strong technical skills and the ability to move in a quick + ever-changing environment
- Understanding of social media, distribution and what makes a story highly shareable
- Innovative and curious to redefine the editorial experience
- Adobe creative suite/Figma experience required
- Working knowledge of motion design, including proficiency in AfterEffects/Premiere
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a cross-functional environment.
- A self starter, with a collaborative spirit and ability to lean on others for expertise and leadership as needed
- Some knowledge of product design and product design principles
- Passion for entertainment, media, and an awareness of the content that fans and publishers create in this category
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $70 – $75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
