Position Description:
Documents business requirements, data requirements, and functional requirements in Confluence. Creates process flows, data maps, data flow diagrams, technical flows, and functional flows using Draw.io. Constructs dashboard mockups using Axure. Creates Epics to track project releases and status using JIRA. Translates business logic to create data requirements and metrics for dashboard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Salesforce. Performs data analysis and validation using SQL queries on DBeaver tool. Builds Ad-Hoc reports for business users using Tableau. Partners with product and technology platform teams to gather and document business and systems requirements for new products and enhancements for exists products in an Agile construct.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions to ongoing business issues.
- Builds data flows to combine, compute, and analyze data from different data sources.
- Determines and specifies business requirements, workflows, use cases, and processes for financial services products.
- Performs validation requirements gathering.
- Synthesizes data for actionable insights.
- Assesses performance of sales teams.
- Serves as a liaison to satisfy new and evolving Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting needs.
- Identifies, executes, and designs rich analytic User Interfaces (UIs).
- Provides timely metrics for key business decisions.
- Develops, documents, and revises system design and test procedures, and quality standards.
- Consults with management on systems.
- Ensures agreement on system principles.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Consultant, Business Analysis (or closely related occupation) liaising with stakeholders and product owners to gather project goals and analyzing sales and service associates performance data in a financial services industry.
Or, alternatively, Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Consultant, Business Analysis (or closely related occupation) liaising with stakeholders and product owners to gather project goals and analyzing sales and service associates performance data in a financial services industry.
Skills and Knowledge:
Candidate must also possess:
- Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") building KPIs and metrics for sales and service associates in the financial domain, using Oracle, Snowflake, Airflow, and Alteryx.
- DE performing data warehousing implementations using Kimble dimensional modelling and data vault modelling with structured and unstructured data, testing strategies, and business use cases.
- DE designing and developing reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce CRM Analytics, OBIEE, SQL, and Excel.
Salary: $108,150.00 - $172,700.00 /year.
