The Business Travel / Group Sales Manager is a business travel/leisure travel salesperson who has demonstrated through performance a thorough understanding and competence in sales, account management functions, and the hotel/business travel industry. Responsibilities include achieving a performance quota by selling guest rooms and Hyatt services to transient market customers through corporate accounts, travel agencies, individual travel and wholesale groups. Duties include managing current accounts, developing new leads, ensuring proper solicitation of all transient markets, calling and visiting potential clients, managing internet-based lead websites, and may include travel to major cities within market. This leader will have some group sales responsibility as well.In addition to Individual Travel sales, this position is responsible for booking short-term meetings for the hotel and is fast-paced. Preparing and presenting effective proposals, presentations, maintaining well-organized documentation and reports, utilization of Hyatt technology systems, and coordination of customer service requirements with hotel operations staff is required in this role. This person will also participate and may lead sales, events, and other staff meetings.
The salary range for this position is $70,600 to $79,400 (commensurate with experience), with unlimited bonus potential.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience and success in a hotel or hospitality selling environment
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- Community involvement and/or professional association is highly regarded
- Superior organization, people, and time-management skills
- Ability to utilize sales analytics to make winning business decisions
