Department Description: - Business Optimization & Redesign - We identify, drive and deliver business and consumer value to KP, our members, patients and the communities we serve.

Our Services

o Redesign - Work with all aspects of KP to review and redesign KP to deliver faster and better outcomes in a way that reduces friction, empowers decision-making, simplifies, de-duplicates and automates our processes, and drives cycle time reduction so that KP stays affordable while driving even greater outcomes and value to our members, patients and the communities we serve.

o Automation/AI - Provide central capability to identify, design and coordinate implementation of AI solutions and to provide an automation service that removes work from the system and brings additional capacity forward so that affordability, quality and experience for KP members, clinicians, physicians and employees whom we serve is enhanced.

o Location Strategies - To support the expansion of the Global Capability Centers (GCC) in a way that enables leaders across Kaiser Permanente to maximize the utilization of the GCCs to drive value, improve quality, and increase innovation so that KP stays affordable while driving even greater outcomes and value to our members, patients, and the communities we serve. Additionally, this role encompasses aiding KP leaders in leveraging global business process outsourcing (BPO) to further enhance operational efficiency and strategic growth across the organization.

o Project Delivery - The Project Delivery is to provide organizations with flexible, scalable, and expert project management capability to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

o Capability Development - Capability Development will create a sustainable model to teach, reinforce, and recognize good business practices, technical competencies, and business acumen. Also, design a curriculum that meets learner and organizational needs through a blend of instructor-led and accessible on-demand resources.

Intern Project(s): Projects will be based on needs of the team on any of the services above.
