Banquet Captains are experienced and the finest of banquet servers and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guest.
• Lead associates by coaching, giving direction, including training
• Responsible for making the function space visually appealing
• Presenting the menu offering for the event
• May include linen and table setting, food station design and beverage service
• Clean what you are able to, use housekeeping as a resource for help when needed
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Adhere to proper food handling procedures and proper beverage procedures.
• Proper knowledge of equipment uses and safety procedures.
• Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work weekends & holidays
