Day-to-day tasks for instructing senior dance classes at Peoples Center involve planning accessible choreography, preparing music, and physically leading the classes, which includes demonstrating moves, providing individualized feedback, and ensuring a safe environment. This position is part of a team responsible for helping to create a strong sense of community and the shared passion for enriching seniors' lives through movement. This work allows for continual adaption and innovation to meet diverse needs, blending various dance styles with fitness elements, and witnessing the positive impact of movement on participants' well-being. This position is on-site, fostering direct interaction and connection, which is vital for building rapport with the seniors.
