As a member of this team, you will be responsible to providing exceptional support for our top-performing travel agents across various brands. Their primary focus is to exceed service expectations, address complex reservation challenges efficiently, and create trust that enhances customer retention. The ultimate goal is to increase market share and drive profitability by cultivating personalized relationships with ALG’s most valuable travel agents. A successful team member will deliver outstanding, industry-leading support, ensuring long-term brand loyalty.​​

This position includes an 8.5-hour shift with (2) scheduled paid 15-minute breaks and an unpaid 30-minute lunch. The starting shift will be our closing shift, example shift hours include: 12:30 pm – 9 pm/ 1 pm – 9:30 pm (EST). Schedules are not permanent and are bid on once a year based off performance. Colleagues are expected to work (1) weekend day but are given a day off during the week if they are working a weekend day (please note: not all schedules will have consecutive days off).

Essential Functions:

  • ​​Provide Service and Escalation support for top accounts through making complex bookings and assisting with modifications to previously booked reservations​.
  • ​​Communicate and uphold policies pertaining to fulfillment of Travel Agent expectations.
  • ​​Focus on service and opportunities to respond to requests, increase vacation value by offering options and upgrades that enhance the customer experience and provide first call resolution.
  • ​​Utilize multiple systems and provide education and support to Travel Agents on all booking systems, including VAX PRO.
  • ​​Focus on problem resolution and sales skills with attention to detail and documentation to decrease errors and maintain profitability.
  • ​​Ability to quickly and accurately comprehend numbers by adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
  • ​​Resolve technical errors independently.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.

Qualifications:

  • ​​1-3 Years Customer Services and computer proficient.
  • Travel experience a plus
  • Familiarity with MS Office.
  • Ability to navigate the internet.
  • ​​Ability to adapt to a fast-paced changing environment.

The salary range for this position is $18.75-$20.00/hr.

The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work. Pay for the successful candidate will meet local requirements, including the local minimum wage rate.
