Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is currently hiring an Associate Project Management/Project Management professional to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, FL. This is an individual contributor role and is not a management/leadership opportunity.
Job Description:
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
The Enterprise Operations Project Manager individual contributor will be supporting the Program Office and Operations and Integration team in a classified environment. The candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Operations and Integration organization. The candidate is responsible for oversight and management of the operational aspects of ongoing projects and will serve as the liaison between the Program Office, integrated product teams, and other functional areas. This candidate will work as part of a team with the Program Office on all program reporting and executive level presentations. This individual should possess team building capabilities and have strong interpersonal skills. The candidate for this position will be required to gain knowledge of industry practices and standards and demonstrate the skill and ability to perform professional tasks. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

• Programmatic operation and integration directly supporting the Program Office in day-to-day execution of Strategic Rhythm
• Facilitation of meetings, resulting actions, and any associated deliverables, including senior leadership meetings
• Development and presentation of executive level leadership briefings
• Assist in executing Senior Customer reviews, engagements and visits
• Participating in contractual and technical meetings and engineering reviews; taking detailed notes to facilitate creation of detailed/technically complex (Customer Deliverable-quality) meeting minutes.
• Work with internal customers to understand the business goals, objectives, rules and additional requirements
• Capturing, tracking, and providing visibility into/reporting on action items
• Developing/establishing positive, professional, customer relationships and a resultant high level of customer satisfaction
• Use of Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and SharePoint.
This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below.
Basic Qualifications Associate Project Management:

• Bachelor's degree with 0 years' experience in Project Management, Program Integration/Execution or similar with Bachelors; OR a master's degree.  4 additional years of project management experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree or 2 years' experience with an Associate's degree.
• Experience creating and delivering presentations
• Skillful with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Experience with interfacing with all levels of employees
• Experience with Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current and Active Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance
• Military/DoD Aerospace and/or Defense Industry Experience
• Ability, once acclimated, to perform and balance competing tasks autonomously with minimal oversight & supervision.
• Ability to effectively manage a balance of regularly scheduled work and tasks as well as providing support for urgent short notice tasks and events
• SharePoint experience
Salary Range: $52,800 - $79,200
Salary Range 2: $63,800 - $95,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
