Doyon Management Services (DMS) provides Design-Build and General Construction Services on demolition, new construction, renovations, repairs, and civil projects at government-owned facilities and military installations.
The Project Manager Associate (PMA) supports the management of construction projects by assisting in planning, monitoring progress, and communicating with stakeholders. They help prepare project documentation, provide support in various project tasks, and ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards. Additionally, they contribute to problem-solving efforts and administrative tasks to ensure projects are completed successfully and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Utilize VISTA Project Management system for assigned duties
- Support the project manager in administrative tasks, such as organizing meetings, maintaining project files, and updating project documentation
- Manage subcontractor and owner pay applications, including drafting, approval coordination, and documentation
- Monitor project progress and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets
- Generate change orders for customers and subcontractors
- Collaborate on project financial reporting with supervisors
- Complete Estimate Amount to Complete (EAC) process in Vista
- Coordinate and respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) with other departments
- Manage project documentation, including daily reports, quality control plans, and submittals
- Prepare and manage project submittal and deliverables
- Generate Purchase Requisitions and Orders
- Estimate time and manpower requirements for project bids
- Coordinate construction schedule and update project schedules
- Collaborate with Superintendents, QC Managers, Site Safety Officers, and Foremen
- Perform field inspection and coordination
- Manage project start-up and closeout processes
- Travel to job sites and regional offices as needed
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years direct project management experience in commercial, civil, or federal government projects
- Experience working on construction projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with emphasis on Excel
- Proficient in project management software, preferably VISTA
- Demonstrated experience in federal government construction processes
- Ability to manage assigned tasks and small projects
Preferred:
- Experience working on construction projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC)
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The employee is exposed to diverse environmental conditions, both indoors and outdoors. While the majority of the work is conducted in a jobsite office and professional office setting, regular and frequent activities also take place at a project jobsite. All tasks entail interacting with individuals of varying functions, personalities, and abilities, encompassing both professional and non-professional backgrounds.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work typically involves sedentary tasks, with occasional requirements for walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to forty pounds. Essential vision abilities for this role include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. During job duties, the employee is regularly expected to sit, use hands for various tasks, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. Travel is required.

SALARY & BENEFITS: Salary range for this position is $81,963.00-$122,945.00 per year. Exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and work location. Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, vision, dental, flexible spending, employee assistance program, group and voluntary life and disability insurance and 401(k) retirement plan. Paid Time Off, 10 paid holidays, 5 bereavement and 10 jury duty paid leave.
