Our team develops new or modifies processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscopes.
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II of Honeywell Aerospace, you will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes. You will determine parts and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification, for both existing and new processes/product technologies. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide test and manufacturing support for RLG (Ring Laser Gyroscope).
* Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.
* Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
* Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
* Help RLG grow its capacity by reducing cycle time, incorporate new capital equipment, and improving yield.
* Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
* Assist development of new products.
* Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
* Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

The annual base salary range for this position is <$min - $mid>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Aeronautical engineering.
* 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
