Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Project Manager. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Plymouth, MN.
The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Armament Systems/Combat Systems organization/business unit.
This position will report directly to the Terrain Shaping Obstacles Portfolio Manager and will be responsible for managing one or more R&D/Manufacturing projects in the portfolio to ensure that all technical requirements are met and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions.
Roles & Responsibilities: Selected candidate will participate in all phases of project and program management including program planning, program reviews with internal stakeholders and customers and risk management. Candidate will have a problem solving mindset and work closely with the program team to drive action items to closure.
Basic Qualifications:
A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's) from an accredited institution
• Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math), Business or related degree
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
• Experience in technology development, project management and/or manufacturing.
• Experienced user of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and/or SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Experience in Operations and Projects.
• Expert user of MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and/or SharePoint
Salary Range: $58,400-$87,600
